At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events. About RDT DATA & AI Business Operations As the strategic engine for RDT DATA & AI Functions, our team bridges high-level vision with world-class execution. We are a high-performing collective of experts—from technical leaders to business analysts and human centered design experts—dedicated to elevating operational excellence and driving long-term strategy. By harnessing data-driven insights and managing critical shared capabilities, we ensure our division meets its global commitments with precision. Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate scope-related risks to manage technical changes smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Provide flexible and adaptive PMO support, shifting seamlessly from active governance (driving metrics, executive slide creation, process engineering) to passive roadmap tracking for core engineering deliveries. Manage the delivery of complex features, services, or technical releases, including service transitions or Agile Release Train increments. Provide specialized PMO leadership by coordinating and driving the implementation of enterprise data policies, content strategies, and cultural change management initiatives. Orchestrate and drive workstreams specifically focused on Metadata Management, Master Data Management (MDM), and Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC). Partner closely with the Head of Data Governance, orchestrating GDS networks, fostering internal Communities of Practice, and mentoring engineering colleagues to build team accountability and spirit. Who You Are Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Years of Experience: 5+ years of solid experience operating across multiple Delivery Management archetypes (e.g., Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Release Train Engineer). Proven track record in Technical PMO and Workpackage Orchestration, specifically managing intricate cross-stream dependencies, resource allocation, and backlog tracking for technical engineering deliverables. Demonstrated capability in translating business needs into technical roadmaps, converting high-level data strategies into actionable engineering sprint plans. Solid foundational Data Literacy in data management principles—including Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC), Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Governance—enabling you to speak the same language as data architects, engineers, and data scientists. Hands-on command of modern Agile and PMO collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) paired with sharp analytical skills for root-cause problem solving.
