Position Summary: As a Medical Copy Quality Assurance Specialist in the growing medical copy and content team within Roche Services & Solutions, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and editing various forms of content, such as articles, blog posts, social media posts, website content, and promotional materials related to medical and healthcare topics. This specialized team focuses on generating commercial content intended for various digital formats (emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites, etc.). Their work plays a crucial role in supporting the communication strategies developed by Roche's global and local business teams. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive QC of medical/scientific digital materials for the US market (emails, banners, ads, and other assets), assessing foundational quality and fit to brief, language use and style (spelling, grammar, and formatting), scientific/medical accuracy, and consistency with brand guidelines and technical specifications. Verify content accuracy and compliance by ensuring all medical/scientific claims are evidence-based, aligned with current medical guidelines and applicable US regulatory/industry standards, and flagging any materials requiring further legal or medical review. Ensure high-quality language, consistency, and layout: review for clarity, conciseness, and readability for the target audience; confirm consistent terminology, branding, and tone; check completeness of text elements (footnotes, references, abbreviations, special formatting); identify conflicting information; and detect copy formatting/layout issues. Validate visual elements (images, charts, graphics) for scientific accuracy, appropriate usage, and alignment with the overall message, confirming they enhance rather than compromise accuracy and clarity. Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and project managers to address feedback and implement revisions; maintain thorough documentation of QC findings and outcomes; track revisions for continuous improvement; and perform final reviews to give error-free approval for distribution. Who You Are 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong medical or scientific background; a higher degree in life sciences is highly preferred, though equivalent relevant experience is also considered. Minimum C2 level English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven experience in quality control of medical/scientific content; and outstanding attention to detail, consistency, clarity, and scientific rigor. Collaborative, customer‑service‑oriented professional with a can‑do attitude, able to work effectively within diverse teams and across time zones, engaging business stakeholders constructively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, able to prioritize tasks, and demonstrating a continuous improvement and growth mindset. Proficient with standard IT applications, preferably including Google Workspace. Please note: Resumes must be submitted in English, as our interview panel may include participants from outside your local country. #LI-DC1 Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
