Job Title Professional, Software Development Engineering (Java Engineer) Job Posting Title: Java Developer What does a successful Java Developer do at Fiserv? You will be part of a team of professionals who excel in delivering solutions on Servicing platform for our Fraud solution clients. Your involvement will be in designing, developing, and supporting the solutions that are delivered, suiting to the client needs. Your role also requires you to work with surround teams that are involved in providing the wholistic solution to the client. Your direct and indirect involvement will result in our clients being successful and will result in better client satisfaction, application stability and enhanced features. What you will do: Preparing technical designs to meet the business requirements. Participating in development activities and collaborating with India and US teams. Preparing test plan for unit testing, regression testing, system, and production parallel testing. Conducting technical walkthroughs with all stakeholders. Supporting system testing and resolving any technical issues faced by testing team. Coding and testing high priority and critical changes utilizing Java technologies. Handling change requests for implementing changes and owning them until closure. Meeting with project managers to provide daily or weekly project status. What you will need to have: 3 to 6 years of Java development hands-on experience Must have strong Java technical skills which includes Java, J2EE, AWT Swing, JMS, JDBC, SOAP, EJB, and SQL Must have strong understanding of CICD tools, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, etc Knowledge of file transmission tools SFTP/NDM Work on batch as well as online programs Strong analytical skill and problem-solving skill Experience of solving security vulnerabilities Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome Develop technical documents for the application Perform application support as necessary Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with usage of MS office – Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams.
