Your responsibilities will include: Develop and execute medical strategy: Lead the medical strategy for the Oncology portfolio in Sweden, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities while addressing local patient and healthcare needs. Inspire and lead a team: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing medical team, driving scientific engagement and creating opportunities for growth and development. Engage stakeholders: Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and other key external stakeholders, representing the medical voice in discussions. Collaborate across functions: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access, to support business objectives and deliver value to patients. Ensure compliance: Promote and uphold GSK’s high ethical standards, ensuring all medical activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and local laws. Provide medical insights: Offer strategic medical guidance and insights to inform decision-making and contribute to innovative healthcare solutions. Basic Qualifications We are looking for professionals with the following skills and qualifications: University degree in a relevant scientific discipline or closely related field. Significant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, specifically in Oncology and within Medical Affairs, with proven expertise in strategy development, execution, and successful product launch experience. Proven leadership experience, including team management and development. Strong ability to collaborate and influence across a matrix environment. Experience building relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to translate complex scientific data into actionable insights. Fluent in both English and Swedish languages. Preferred Qualifications If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Preferred professional qualifications (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD) Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively. Experience driving innovation and fostering continuous improvement. Swedish Salary Range: SEK 988,500 to SEK 1,647,500The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
