Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Finance Business Partners Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland Job Description: Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury. Currently we are looking for Financial Analyst to join the Principal Operations and Finance Transformation, supporting the Cost Controlling team within Strategy and Value Management. The candidate will support the financial modelling process and reporting for cost controlling activities, as well as support program partnership with stakeholders to shape and identify value opportunities, and drive realization commitment through value tracking governance model. Key Responsibilities: Support and coordinate cost center Master Data and maintenance (e.g., creation, mappings, and master data updates) with relevant teams to enable accurate cost tracking and reporting Support purchase order and spend request reviews by validating coding and documentation, flagging compliance issues, and monitoring open POs to improve accrual and forecast quality Support the budget submission and forecasting process for the IM Transformation program by preparing inputs, consolidating updates, and ensuring alignment with governance requirements Monitor actuals and commitments, prepare Budget vs. Actual variance analyses, and highlight drivers/risks to support actions ensuring costs are appropriately covered versus budget and forecasts Prepare financial reporting and materials for stakeholders, summarizing budget status, key drivers, and risks to support timely discussions and decisions Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field Fluency in English (written and spoken) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar finance/analyst role Experience using digital tools (AI, Power BI) and financial systems Key Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling Understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance requirements Ability to translate data into actionable business insights Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong business partnering mindset and teamwork approach Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Proactive, flexible, and eager to take initiative Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization and efficiency Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital tools (AI, Power BI) Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Required Skills: Analytical Thinking, Communication, Financial Analysis, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Management Preferred Skills: Budgeting, Business Behavior, Coaching, Data Analysis, Detail-Oriented, Financial Forecasting, Financial Modeling, Learning Agility, Microsoft Office, Relationship Building, Teamwork The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €44,300.00 - €70,610.00 Benefits: In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
