Job Function: Supply Chain Engineering Job Sub Function: Automation Engineering Job Category: Scientific/Technology All Job Posting Locations: Schaffhausen, Switzerland Job Description: Zur Verstärkung unserer Automation-Gruppe suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen teamfähigen, fachlich ausgewiesenen Automation Engineer (Fixed term, 2 year contract) Ihre Aufgaben Planung und Realisierung unserer Automationseinrichtungen für die pharmazeutische Produktion. Projektsupport für Neuanlagen und deren Anbindung an übergeordnete Automationssysteme. Durchführung von Life-Cycle Projekten der Automationssysteme in der Produktion, z.B. Virtualisierung bestehender Anlagen-PCs, Upgrade älterer Systeme (PC, Applikation, SPS und Feldinstrumentierung), Ersatzteilmanagement. Unterstützung und Überwachung der Qualifizierung und Validierung von Automationssystemen Fachspezifische Unterstützung bei Trouble-Shooting Aufgaben. Ihr Profil Sie zeichnen sich durch Zuverlässigkeit aus, arbeiten gerne im Team, sind flexibel und besitzen eine hohe Einsatzbereitschaft. Auch in hektischen Situationen bewahren Sie einen kühlen Kopf. Neben verhandlungssicherem Deutsch bringen Sie auch gute Englischkenntnisse mit. Folgende fachliche Eigenschaften runden Ihr Profil ab: Fach- oder Hochschulabschluss (Bachelor oder Master) in Elektrotechnik, oder Techniker für Automatisierungstechnik oder vergleichbar. Fundierte Fachkenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Steuerungs- und Automatisierungstechnik vorzugsweise in der Pharma- oder Lebensmittelindustrie Erfahrung bei der Projektierung/Programmierung von speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerungen, vorzugsweise Siemens S7 Projekt Management Erfahrung wünschenswert Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (verhandlungssicher) Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift English: To strengthen our Automation Group, we are looking for a qualified and team-oriented Automation Engineer (Fixed term, 2 year contract) Your Responsibilities • Plan and implement automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing. • Provide project support for new equipment and its integration with higher-level automation systems. • Execute lifecycle projects for production automation systems, including: Virtualization of existing plant PCs Upgrading legacy systems (PCs, applications, PLCs, and field instrumentation) Spare parts management • Support and monitor the qualification and validation of automation systems. • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting activities. Your Profile You are reliable, enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering results. You remain calm under pressure and are fluent in German, with good English language skills. The following qualifications complete your profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualification as an Automation Technician. Strong expertise in control and automation engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food industry. Experience in the design and programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), preferably Siemens S7. Project management experience is desirable. Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken (business fluent). Good English language skills, both written and spoken. This position may require up to 5% of international (US) travel.
