This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow our new Surgery therapy area across a high-potential region in Poland, building market understanding from the ground up and contributing to the development of a strategic area of the business. In this field-based role, you will work closely with surgeons, hospital stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, understand clinical pathways and define the most effective regional approach to therapy development. The position requires approximately 70% travel across the assigned territory, including Dolnośląskie, Opolskie, Śląskie, Małopolskie, Świętokrzyskie, Podlaskie and Lubuskie. Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy and play a key role in building a start-up-like approach within an evolving therapy area. Responsibilities may include the following assigned: Develop and execute a regional strategy to establish and expand new therapies such as, for example, Breast Surgery therapy area by identifying market opportunities, customer needs and long-term growth potential Build a strong understanding of the therapy landscape, including procedure types, treatment pathways, hospital potential, pricing dynamics and reimbursement considerations Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinical leaders, hospital management and other relevant stakeholders to support therapy adoption and long-term collaboration Provide clinical and technical support for new and innowative surgery procedures using Medtronic surgical solutions and disposable surgical instruments Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), experienced and influential clinicians who help shape clinical practice, to support education, advocacy and therapy expansion Analyse market dynamics, procedure volumes and competitive activity, and translate insights into clear actions that support strategic decision-making and business growth Partner closely with sales, marketing and medical education teams to implement customer engagement plans, educational initiatives and a scalable regional development model Required Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing or another healthcare-related discipline Experience in the medical device industry, operating room environment, clinical support role or a comparable healthcare-facing position, will be an additional advantage Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and drive activities from concept to execution in a developing or evolving market Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills, combined with a proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region, with approximately 70% of working time spent in the field, and a valid Category B driving licence Professional level of Polish and English to communicate effectively with customers and participate in training and business discussions Experience in general surgery, surgical oncology or another surgical specialty, as well as knowledge of the Polish hospital environment, stakeholder landscape and reimbursement system, will be considered an advantage. Previous involvement in therapy development, market mapping or adoption initiatives would also be beneficial.
