This position reports to: Sales Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Application Machines products and solutions within a designated area, in line with the division and company strategy. You will manage both direct and indirect customers, contributing to the development of new business opportunities. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. The role will cover Padova and Vicenza province, managing a defined customer portfolio and supporting the strategic sales areas. This role is contributing to the ELSB Marketing & Sales organization, focused on Application Machine Products, Automation business in Veneto. Main stakeholders include distributors, direct industrial customers (Oems), internal sales teams, application specialists and marketing. You will be mainly accountable for: Managing a portfolio of direct and indirect customers, including historical clients and new prospects Developing new business opportunities through scouting and active customer acquisition Preparing commercial offers and managing quotations in Salesforce Handling sales administrative activities (offers, contracts, pricing, procedures) Communicating with customers on delivery times, payments and general terms & conditions according to ABB policies Promoting and communicating the value proposition of ABB Machine products Supporting marketing initiatives and local commercial actions Collaborating closely with application, sales support and internal teams to achieve shared objectives You will join a collaborative, results-oriented and customer-focused sales team, where teamwork, trust and continuous improvement are key elements to success. Qualifications for the role You enjoy working in sales activities within the industrial and automation market You have at least 4 years of experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Specialist or Technical Sales You are familiar with Machines and Automation products, such as: Contactors, Motor protection devices, Automation panels and systems You have a good ability to read and understand electrical schematics You are comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) You demonstrate strong relational and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships You are proactive in customer contact, follow-up and opportunity development You are results-driven, with focus on targets, performance and continuous growth You enjoy collaboration and working in cross-functional team High school diploma or degree in technical/scientific subjects Italian fluent, good working knowledge in English Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Compensation Package As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico Minimum annual salary: €39.000 Variable Pay: Eligible for Sales Incentive plan and Company Productivity Bonus The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
