This position reports to: R&D Manager Critical Power __ Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will develop and design products, systems, and technologies by leading and managing one or more R&D projects to achieve project objectives. You will coordinate the work of local and cross-functional project teams and provide leadership in collaboration with local managers, steering committees, product management, and external partners to ensure value creation. Work model: On-site Your key responsibilities Project Leadership: Plan, organize, and lead projects; assign tasks; motivate cross-functional teams; and apply project management methodologies and decision-making processes. Execution Management: Monitor project milestones, track costs, and manage changes and claims in accordance with defined processes. Risk & Quality Management: Identify and mitigate risks, oversee prototyping activities, and ensure on-time project delivery. Stakeholder Management: Foster effective communication across project teams and maintain strong relationships with internal functions, R&D teams, customers, and external partners. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports and monitor financial performance. You will be part of an international team at our Technology Center and collaborate with global research centers and external stakeholders. Qualifications for the Role Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, combined with experience as a development engineer. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies with a proven track record of successful application. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. Comprehensive technical expertise in the development of low-voltage products, including mechanical and electrical systems, product design, and assembly processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project), with experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks considered an advantage. Self-driven, quick to learn, solution-oriented, and experienced in collaborating with global suppliers, engineering teams, and manufacturing locations.
