Job Description Summary: The R&D Co-Op program is designed to provide exposure to multiple disciplines and product lines within the Urology and Critical Care Research and Development function. The Co-Op participant is expected to learn the business and be a contributing member on assigned projects while gaining valuable experience toward their degree. Upon completion of the program, an R&D Co-Op participant will have gained real-world engineering experience and contributed to the design, development and/or launch of a medical device. This position is on-site in Covington, GA and is an opportunity for a new Co-Op. The position is not eligible for relocation and/or housing assistance. Responsibilities: Write test protocols and reports. Conducts basic product testing. Assists in building prototype devices and fixtures Research and review clinical data for assigned projects. Assists engineers with other product development activities. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in a Scientific or Engineering field. Able to work onsite daily, commutable distance.
