This position reports to: Senior Project Engineer __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities for projects of varying sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will contribute to transforming customer specifications into factory and customer-ready deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency across all stages of the engineering process. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role contributes to the ELDS Smart Power Division – Switchboard Engineering in Monterrey, Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: Preparing and modifying electrical and mechanical drawings based on customer specifications, using tools such as Creo and EPLAN. Supporting design standardization and ensuring compliance with ABB and customer quality standards. Assisting in the technical clarification process with factories, suppliers, and customers to resolve design-related issues. Participating in engineering workshops and continuous improvement initiatives for design tools, workflows, and automation processes. Qualifications for the role Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering. 1+ years of experience in project engineering, electrical design, or manufacturing environments. Familiar with CREO for mechanical design and EPLAN for electrical schematics (advanced expertise not required) or similar. Exposure to automation or standardization tools for improving engineering efficiency is a plus. Proven ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into tailed engineering documentation. Proficient in English (written and spoken) for communication with global teams. Problem Solving and excellent communication skills.
