The Vice President, Supply Chain Management (SCM) – MI is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring compliant, cost-effective and resilient operations across procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics and distribution. This role ensures product availability, regulatory compliance and operational excellence while supporting innovation and growth in a highly regulated environment. The Head of MI SCM is a key partner to Quality, R&D, Service, and Commercial organizations, ensuring alignment across the value chain while proactively mitigating risk, strengthening supplier ecosystems, and enabling sustainable growth. The role is based in our Hoffman Estates, IL office.Key Responsibilities: Define and execute a global supply chain strategy for Molecular Imaging, aligned with the overall business priorities of growth, sustainability, reliability and compliance. Owner of key supply chain KPIs: - Supply chain costs as a % of revenue - On-time delivery (OTD) and service levels - Inventory turns and accuracy (Days Sales Outstanding and Cycle Counts) - Supplier quality and reliability - Manufacturing yield and throughput (First Pass Yield and Cycle Time) - Compliance audit outcomes Ensure alignment between demand, production, supply, and inventory strategies Professional collaboration with peers and colleagues in e.g. Strategic Procurement, R&D, Project Management, Service, Sales, Finance and Regulatory to address upcoming changes and escalations due to material shortfalls or quality issues. Drive projects for process optimization, localization, Kaizen activities, automation, visualization, and digitalization in the production environment. Ensure appropriate production stand-ups, regular management reporting locally and to HQ with recommendations and follow-ups on decisions made. Responsible for personnel and resource planning, process and material control, internal coordination, and proactive capacity and space planning. Maintains a safe and healthy manufacturing environment. Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and components required for MI production and customer fulfillment Develop and maintain strong, long-term supplier partnerships, ensuring quality, delivery reliability, capacity and innovation as well as compliance with regulatory standards Establish robust business continuity and contingency plans for supply disruptions Ensure alignment with Siemens Healthineers quality management / global standards/ regulations. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for medical devices. Delivering sustainable cost competitiveness without compromising quality or continuity Leadership and Organizational Development You lead and develop a high performing SCM organization, promoting an appreciative, performance-oriented team culture. You are responsible for building succession pipelines for critical roles, ensuring leadership continuity You foster a culture of continuous improvement, aligned with Siemens Healthineers values through targeted employee development, knowledge sharing, and personal responsibility. You work closely with the logistics, process technology, product and process development, and facility management departments to ensure smooth operations and sustainable improvements. Your qualifications and experience: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. You have strong working knowledge of SCM relevant integrated software platforms e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP R3 or S4HANA ERP desired), analytical applications and data formatting (MS Power BI). You have 15+ years of experience in supply chain management and operations or production management (CSCP or ISM certification is valued) You have strong experience in medical devices, healthcare or regulated manufacturing environment You have a proven track record managing global supply chains and transformation initiatives You bring experience in navigating supply disruptions and leading recovery efforts You successfully manage stakeholders across global, matrixed organizations You have proven expertise in production systems, Lean and its tools (e.g. Kanban, 6S, A3 and structured solving techniques) Skills & capabilities: You work in a structured and independent manner, with a high degree of personal responsibility. The base pay range for this position is: $280,000 - $385,000 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
