As a Senior Associate, Supply Chain Planning supporting our Supply Chain Operations team, you will be trusted to drive demand, supply, and inventory planning activities while ensuring product availability and operational excellence at Bornem. In this role, a typical day will include: Collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve supply chain challenges, ensuring continuity of supply and achievement of service level targets. Managing demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to optimize inventory levels, reduce backorders, and improve customer service performance. Analyzing supply chain data, conducting root cause investigations, and developing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. Partnering with operations, procurement, engineering, logistics, and regional stakeholders to align planning activities and support business objectives. Utilizing ERP and planning systems to monitor performance, generate insights, and drive measurable improvements in inventory, service, and financial metrics. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, operations, or a related field. Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, backorder management, and service level optimization. Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (SAP, MRP, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting complex datasets and driving continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, foster accountability, and effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams. Strong financial acumen with an understanding of cost drivers, inventory impacts, and budget management. Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
