Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead General Trade sales across Karnataka. The role is responsible for driving business growth through strong distributor management, retail expansion, and excellent in-store execution. Key Responsibilities Deliver sales and business targets across the assigned territory. Manage distributors, super stockists, and General Trade channel operations. Expand retail coverage and improve product availability, visibility, and merchandising. Execute trade promotions, demand generation, and outlet activation programs. Build strong relationships with key retailers and drive outlet-level sales. Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities. Coach and develop the frontline sales team to improve execution. Ensure timely settlement of distributor and trade claims. Spend significant time in the market to drive execution and strengthen customer relationships. Preferred Profile 5–10 years of experience in General Trade sales within FMCG/Consumer Durables/Consumer Products. Strong experience in Distributor Management, Channel Sales, Retail Sales, and Trade Marketing. Good understanding of the distributor network, and retail landscape.
