The right candidate needs to have a basic understanding of SerDes architecture, equalization principle, and characterization techniques. The candidate also needs to have experience in system level channel design, trade-offs factors for robust link performance in terms of SI/PI. KEY Requirements Working between the SerDes IP team and the Server product team Capable of running IBIS-AMI model link level simulations Understanding PCIe specifications of different generations Familiarity with Matlab, C/C++ programming, Python Experience with lab equipment for high-speed digital systems Good background of statistics and signal processing Good understanding of SI/PI basics for high-speed serial links Having the skillset of PCB design Efficient in analyzing results and making decisions and recommendations Excellent technical communication skills (presentations and documentation) Team player #LI-KL1 #LI-Hybrid Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
