The Opportunity We have an opportunity for the role of Customer Support Operations Specialist within our Point of Care division based out of Princeton, NJ, and this is an on-site role. Abbott Point of Care empowers smarter, faster decision-making at the point of care with a full range of diagnostic products and services designed to deliver accurate results in minutes, enabling clinicians to improve patient outcomes and streamline care. As the Customer Support Operations Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to resolve customer inquiries and manage order processing. You will ensure order accuracy and support a consistent customer experience. What You’ll Work On Resolve inbound and outbound customer inquiries related to products, services, and order status. Enter, review, and confirm customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Investigate and resolve non-routine issues by applying judgment beyond standard procedures. Partner with sales and technical teams to address customer needs and escalate complex issues. Manage order exceptions, including changes, cancellations, and follow-ups to support timely fulfillment. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or service solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions. Deliver timely and effective issue resolution to support a positive customer experience. Required Qualifications Technical diploma or equivalent education. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support, call center, or order processing. Experience handling customer inquiries via phone and using systems for data entry. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing non-routine or escalated customer inquiries. Experience with CRM or order management systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, or similar). Experience supporting order entry, validation, or fulfillment processes. Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device environments.
