Job Summary** The Tooling Warehouse Assistant II at Jabil, Inc. supports the efficient operation of the tooling warehouse by performing various duties related to receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining tools and equipment. This role ensures accurate inventory control and timely provision of tools to production. Job Responsibilities** * Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming tooling, equipment, and materials, verifying against purchase orders and specifications. * Organize and store tooling in designated locations, adhering to established warehouse layouts and safety protocols. * Issue tools and equipment to internal customers (e.g., production, maintenance) based on requisitions, ensuring proper documentation and tracking. * Conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts, physical inventories) to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies. * Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment as required, reporting any damage or malfunction. * Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (certification may be required). * Assist in the preparation of tools and equipment for shipment or transfer. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the tooling warehouse. * Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other relevant software for inventory tracking and record-keeping. * Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Job Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent. * 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with tooling or technical equipment. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software. * Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. * Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). * Understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
