For this role we offer 12 months fixed term contract. Purpose: As an Operational Excellence Associate Specialist, you will join a dynamic team focused on improving operational performance through the integration of Lean methodologies, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation initiative and Sharing of excellence culture in the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and implement innovative solutions that enhance reliability, productivity, quality, and efficiency across pharmaceutical operations. This one-year temporary position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of manufacturing excellence and emerging technologies, while contributing to projects that ultimately impact patients worldwide. As an Associate Specialist Operational Excellence, you will: Analyze and interpret data to support business decisions and performance improvements. Develop and apply statistical models and analytical tools to identify opportunities and make improvements visible. Support Lean manufacturing practices, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives across the site. Design and participate in structured Site performance management system (scorecard, dashboard, KPI and Root cause problem-solving). Participate in structured problem-solving activities to eliminate losses. Collaborate with local and global stakeholders in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Support the adoption of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement practices. This position offers exposure to some of the most exciting developments in modern pharmaceutical manufacturing, including: Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing solutions. Data analytics and performance visualization. Manufacturing data integration and digital reporting systems. Predictive analytics and proactive performance management. Lean methodologies and operational excellence best practices. You will gain valuable experience working with real operational data, transforming insights into actions that improve business performance and help ensure patients receive the medicines they need. Qualifications / Requirements: Required Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Scientific Disciplines, or a related field. Attitude to analytical mindset and interest in data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools. Familiarity with statistical methods and analytical models. Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) concepts. Understanding of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement principles. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. English proficiency at B1 level or above. Preferred Previous experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments. Basic understanding of GMP requirements. Experience with SAP, SQL, Power BI or similar analytics platforms. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to engage stakeholders and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
