Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Laboratory Setting, Office Job Description We are looking for a Scientist II to support molecular assay development activities through hands-on laboratory work and data-driven analysis. In this role, you will contribute to qPCR/dPCR assay and reagent development, combining practical laboratory expertise with statistical and computational analysis. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Manufacturing, QA, and Product teams to support assay development, troubleshooting, and product lifecycle activities. Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative molecular biology solutions supporting life sciences research and diagnostics. Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and troubleshoot qPCR/dPCR assays and reagents, including wet-lab experimentation Analyze experimental data using statistical methods to support development and troubleshooting activities Use Python, R, or JMP for data analysis, assay evaluation, and optimization of analysis workflows Perform primer/probe assessment, specificity checks, and sequence analysis using bioinformatics tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, transfer, and sustaining activities Prepare experimental summaries, documentation, and communicate results in a regulated environment Support continuous improvement initiatives related to assay performance and data analysis processes Experience and Qualifications Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field 1+ years of laboratory experience in molecular biology or related scientific field Skills and Competencies Strong practical knowledge of qPCR assay development and troubleshooting strategies Strong wet-lab skills in molecular biology techniques Familiarity with statistical analysis of experimental data Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, R, and/or JMP is preferred Familiarity with bioinformatics tools such as Primer3 and BLAST Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to interpret experimental data and support technical decision-making Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams Good English communication skills (B2–C1) Salary 2183- 3270 gross/month The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.
