This role will be critical to supporting the work of the Software Operations & Support (SO&S) leadership as their team of 700 engineers work to maximize our customers’ productivity through expert problem resolution, clear guidance, and trusted partnerships. Your Team The SO&S Business Operations Team is comprised of a diverse set of individuals who all have unique strengths. Your Day-to-Day Employee Resources Management You will work with the Employee Resource Management Process Owner, the SO&S leadership team, and our Human Resources Business Partner to build, deploy, and maintain resources that support our employees throughout their entire journey with PTC, ”Hire to Retire.” Learning and Development – work with managers, PTC Technical Enablement Team, HR, and learning management system to build and maintain learning paths and trainings for all SO&S employees. Coordinate the delivery of training sessions and workshops that are SO&S-specific. Coordinate coaching and mentoring programs as identified by SO&S leadership and HR Business Partner. Work with leadership and HR to build and maintain SO&S’ career paths and the supporting competency-based job models. Employee Engagement – receive feedback from HR Business Partner on the employee engagement survey results and execute prioritized improvement activities. Provide communications to the organization on what was heard and what actions we are taking. Employee Communications – provide regular communications to the SO&S organization worldwide (newsletters, Town Hall facilitation, project updates) to ensure that employees have the information they need to make informed business decisions. Project Management You will work with Employee Resource Management Process Owner and SO&S leadership to frame and launch programs and projects based on strategic needs. This activity will primarily be geared towards Employee Resource Management, however may expand to other areas of need within SO&S. Drive the scope and execution of assigned projects and ensure that objectives remain consistent with the organization’s strategy. Create, manage, and update execution status through project lifecycles to regularly measure the benefits gained through initiative execution. Process Management You will perform and coordinate the work on the Employee Resource Management Process and its supporting procedures, addressing the issues of process compliance, breakdowns, and communication gaps. Control by prioritizing, controlling and escalating process needs. Implement required changes for improvement to maintain ISO9000 quality standards. You will ensure the process is documented and enabled. Measure adoption and monitor process metrics to drive continuous process improvement. Gather, organize, and submit feedback for process change to the SO&S Process Sponsor, Process Owner, and Quality Manager. Organize and prepare regular Process Performance reviews. Qualifications Candidate must be available to work at least 4 hours per day overlapping with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) to support team collaboration. Action-oriented and committed to driving quality results. Experience in learning and development, talent development, or organizational effectiveness roles. Knowledge/experience in Program/Project Management (PMBOK) methodology. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and influence others at all levels, including peers through senior management.
