Join us as a: Senior Marketing Specialist – Companion Animals Welcome to our team The Animal Health Marketing team adopts a customer-centric approach, leveraging customer insights and market intelligence to guide decision-making. Through data-driven strategies, we design, develop and implement products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that contribute to improving the health and well-being of companion animals and supporting veterinary professionals around the world. About the role The Animal Health Italy Marketing team is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist – Companion Animals to support the development and execution of marketing strategies that create value for customers and strengthen the positioning of our companion animal portfolio in the Italian market. In this role you will work closely with BUD, Sales, Technical and Global Headquarters teams, contributing to strategic initiatives, promotional activities, communication projects and training programs. Taks and responsibilities include but are not limited to Developing and leading the marketing plan for the Companion Animals product portfolio, with responsibility for product strategy and its translation into appropriate tactical initiatives to achieve business objectives, as well as developing promotional initiatives and tools. Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, including field visits alongside the sales team to ensure strategies are aligned with customer expectations. Collaborating with Sales and Technical teams to define, organize and deliver value-added services and initiatives for customers and Key Accounts. Interpreting and managing sell-in and sell-out data to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Working closely with the dedicated team to define and execute effective digital marketing strategies aimed at enhancing product value and brand reputation. Partnering with Global Headquarters to ensure alignment between local and global marketing strategies. Preparing marketing presentations, promotional materials and supporting sales force training activities in collaboration with the broader marketing team. Contributing to the successful launch of new products and initiatives within the Companion Animals portfolio. Responsible for demand forecasting (production forecast) and the periodic review and management of budgets. Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the expense budget to ensure alignment with financial objectives. Your profile The ideal candidate will have: 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, customer value management or related roles, preferably within the Animal Health sector. A degree in Life Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. A strong interest in technology, innovation and digital transformation. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Passion for the companion animal sector and a customer-focused mindset. The salary range for this position is € 49.900 - € 84.800 This is the lowest and highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. This will be based on an individual’s experience, skills, organizational needs and compensation levels within their peer group.
