This position reports to: Local Business Line Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers during the proposal and tendering process for Medium Voltage Drives solutions. Acting as a key technical partner, you will work closely with sales teams and customers to identify the best technical solutions and deliver competitive, high-quality proposals. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Providing technical support and advice to customers, channel partners, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB Medium Voltage Drives solutions and applications. Analyzing customer specifications, tender documents, and technical requirements to determine the most suitable technical solution. Preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals, including product configurations, cost calculations, and supporting documentation. Collaborating with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure the successful development of proposals and project opportunities. Supporting the achievement of order intake, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets. Managing proposal activities in a project-driven environment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. Traveling to customer sites when required to support business development and technical discussions. Qualifications for the role ​ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Experience in proposal engineering, application engineering, sales engineering, or a similar technical-commercial role is considered a strong advantage. Solid understanding of electrical systems, knowledge of Medium Voltage equipment or industrial automation solutions is a plus. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical specifications, customer requirements, and project documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and determination to overcome technical and commercial challenges. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences. Customer-focused mindset and ability to work effectively in a project-based environment. Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Availability to travel domestically and internationally when required. Team player with a collaborative approach and strong organizational skills.
