DESCRIPTIONJoin our collaborative sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager III. Dedicated to supporting one of our largest pharmaceutical customers, you will drive growth, build a strong strategic partnership, and represent our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. How you will make an impact: You will develop and implement strategic sales plans while managing the customer relationship and aligning Thermo Fisher's solutions to the customer's evolving scientific and business objectives. You will identify and develop large capital equipment sales opportunities associated with customer projects while achieving sales targets. Through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping the customer advance their scientific goals. What you will do: Identify, develop, and close large capital equipment (CAPEX) sales opportunities within customer projects, laboratory buildouts, facility expansions, and modernization initiatives Partner with the customer, vendors, and cross-functional teams to scope solutions, develop pricing strategies, and lead project planning and customer meetings Manage the successful execution of capital equipment projects from initial customer engagement through implementation by coordinating key resources, facilitating stakeholder communication, overseeing project timelines, mitigating risks, driving key milestones, and ensuring successful project delivery Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the sales and project lifecycle Build strong partnerships while delivering solutions that support customer objectives, drive growth, and create long-term customer success REQUIREMENTSHow you will get here: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales experience, preferably in laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Demonstrated project management expertise, including experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and driving projects to successful completion Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite Analytical and strategic planning capabilities Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory Fluency in English required; additional languages are beneficial Commitment to Thermo Fisher's core values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
