Location: The position is located at our U.S. Headquarters in Las Colinas, TX and requires in-office presence three days per week. Position Summary: The Incident Response Coordinator is a role for those experienced with leading, managing and coordinating cybersecurity incident response activities. This role serves as a single point of contact for customers during Incident Response engagements, ensuring timely communications, effective incident management, and efficient stakeholder coordination. The coordinator works closely with Incident Response analysts, senior leadership, legal, and other relevant parties to ensure that proper service delivery is performed and efficiently executed. Responsibilities: Apply experience in cybersecurity incident response to lead and oversee all phases of incident management, ensuring effective coordination, communication with stakeholders, expectation management, and successful closure. Serve as the single point of contact for incident escalations and status updates. Maintain situational awareness across multiple incidents and prioritize response efforts. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among technical, legal, compliance, and executive teams. Organize tasks, tools, objectives, decisions, and actions for reporting and post-incident analysis. Identify and track security posture enhancements for Trend Micro customers. Coordinate with internal teams for post-incident activities. Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in incident or project management, SOC operations management, or cybersecurity coordination. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Skills & Competencies: Extensive experience in directing and coordinating cybersecurity incident response in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of security incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-61, SANS). Excellent organizational and communication skills under pressure. Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously. Familiarity with SIEM tools, EDR platforms, forensic processes, and threat intelligence sources. Analytical mindset and attention to detail in documenting and tracking incidents. Work Environment: On-call participation during major incidents or outside business hours as required, including weekends and holidays. Must be located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
