Job Description Vaccine Regional Trainer The Vaccine Regional Trainer (VRT) supports and facilitates the learning activities for our U.S. Vaccine commercial facing roles within our Company. The role reports to the VRT Director within U.S. Vaccine Commercial Operations and collaborates with Vaccine Sales Leadership, Vaccine Learning Consultants and Vaccine Learning Partners in the execution of the U.S. Vaccine Learning and Development (L&D) strategy through the delivery of national and/or regional learning solutions. The VRT will engage with sales representatives, VKCLs, CTLs, DCOs and Directors to understand business goals and in turn will develop and execute learning plans aligned to those goals. The VRT routinely engages with key stakeholders to ensure learning solutions continue to support and positively drive desired outcomes. The VRTs work with the region leadership teams to ensure the team engages appropriately and have the resources to differentiate our products clinically, operationally, and financially. Success in this role depends on the candidate’s ability to routinely collaborate across Sales Leadership, HQ Partners and the US Vaccine L&D Team. The VRT is a key enabler to the new Vaccine structure and their effective partnership with DCOs, Directors and CTLs will be a critical success factor. Working knowledge of Universal Purchase environment is necessary. VRTs will be deployed at the region level, and the candidate is expected to reside in, or reasonably near, their assigned region to facilitate in-person and remote engagements. Primary Responsibilities A strong working knowledge of clinical, operational, and commercial aspect of our company Vaccine portfolio. Creates, maintains, and delivers routine clinical, operational, and commercial acumen sessions for Vaccine sales representatives using HQ approved materials. As an extended member of the Region Leadership Team, attends all staff meetings and regularly engages with region leadership to assess learning/training needs unique to each region, district, and where needed, territory. Based on said assessment, works closely with the HQ L&D team to identify current assets to support needs or provide requirements to create new assets as needed. Understands national strategies and regional market ecosystem for effective partnership between HQ and Region. Identifies regional business opportunities and training required to address at a local level using HQ approved materials. Participates in representative sales calls with the intent to provide coaching on their HCP customer interactions as well as observations to better inform business performance and region and national training/learning needs. Facilitates training workshops at sales meetings and may support new hire training. Reports timely feedback on learning effectiveness to the business and communicates recommendations for improvement to U.S. Vaccine Learning and Development. Drive onboarding of Vaccine sales representatives in field (with sales management), emphasizing proficiency in clinical, operational, and commercial knowledge, business acumen, account management and selling effectiveness, including Universal Purchase environments where appropriate. This position will not be responsible for performance management of Vaccine sales representatives. Minimum Education Requirement Required: Bachelor’s degree (Business, Education or Science preferred), plus a minimum of 5 years related experience with at least 2 years of Vaccine commercial experience, or 10+ years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree (sales, marketing, training, reimbursement) and experience developing and/or facilitating/delivering Vaccine learning solutions. Preferred: Having a higher level of education may be beneficial for this role due to the specialized knowledge and skills they provide, which can be beneficial for the job responsibilities and requirements.
