The Director, Program & Internal Alliance Manager – AI Molecular Design is responsible for the enterprise support for the AI Molecular Design (AI MD) program, with execution accountability to achieve program and portfolio outcomes through internal Operating Company partnerships and external alliances. This role ensures AI MD delivers scalable, measurable R&D productivity and growth impact across the Danaher Operating Companies, operating as a core enterprise capability under DBS. This position reports to the VP of Enterprise AI Molecular Design and is part of the Artificial Intelligence organization will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Translate strategy into execution: Drive the AI Molecular Design (AI MD) enterprise strategy by converting long-term vision into a focused, value-driven portfolio with clear priorities, success metrics, funding alignment, and milestone tracking. Ensure disciplined portfolio governance: Lead prioritization, resourcing, and sequencing of AI MD initiatives; oversee contracting, invoicing, and financial governance; and leverage TMRO insights to guide investment decisions, risk visibility, and scaling strategy. Enable consistent, scalable execution: Establish a streamlined operating cadence across initiatives and OpCos that ensures alignment, transparency, and predictable progress without unnecessary process overhead. Drive cross-enterprise integration and value realization: Act as an enterprise integrator across AI teams, OpCos, and external partners/alliances, aligning use cases, business cases, and success metrics to accelerate adoption, reuse, and sustained customer and OpCo value. Influence executive decision-making and continuous improvement: Provide clear, executive-level insights on performance, risks, and financials while applying DBS principles (in partnership with DBS leadership) to reinforce focus, accountability, and continuous improvement. The essential requirements of the job include: Extensive experience and technical foundation: 10+ years of relevant industry experience in operational roles, supported by an advanced degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines). Strong partnership and stakeholder leadership: Proven track record managing complex partnerships and alliances, with deep expertise in influencing and aligning stakeholders across functions and OpCos. Exceptional communication skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels—translating complex concepts for senior leadership while engaging cross-functional and individual contributors. Program and portfolio management capability: Experience utilizing portfolio or program management tools to drive structured execution, prioritization, and delivery. Agile, strategic mindset: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with the ability to balance near-term business constraints with long-term AI strategy and roadmap objectives. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Familiarity with Danaher's business model and commercial activities. Proficiency in applying DBS tools related to strategy, planning, alignment, decision making, and tracking is preferred Working experience or knowledge about adjacent business domains such as Commercial/Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing operations, Supply Chain management, etc Danaher offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The annual salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
