THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support AECG x86 demand and supply planning activities across new product introductions (NPI) and production programs. In this role, you will leverage data, forecasting models, and business insights to drive planning decisions, improve supply readiness, and support product lifecycle management. You will work across Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to provide actionable recommendations, develop reporting solutions, and help advance AMD's transition to AI-enabled planning platforms. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and a passion for solving complex operational challenges. You are data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. You excel in a collaborative environment and can effectively communicate insights to both technical and business stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze x86 demand and supply data to support forecasting, scheduling, allocation, and operational planning activities across NPI and production programs. Partner with cross-functional teams to support product ramps, lifecycle transitions, and supply readiness initiatives. Identify demand and supply imbalances, evaluate business impacts, and provide data-driven recommendations to mitigate risks and constraints. Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting solutions, forecasting models, and performance metrics to support business decision-making. Leverage AI-enabled analytics and planning tools to improve forecasting accuracy, operational visibility, and planning efficiency. Support the implementation and adoption of next-generation planning platforms through process analysis, requirements gathering, and cross-functional coordination. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, enabling timely and informed business decisions. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in business analysis, supply chain analytics, operations planning, product planning, or related business functions. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in forecasting, trend analysis, and data modeling. Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using business intelligence and data visualization tools. Familiarity with supply chain, demand planning, inventory management, or product lifecycle processes. Experience working with AI-enabled analytics, planning systems, or advanced data modeling techniques. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Semiconductor, technology, or manufacturing industry experience preferred. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field Master's degree preferred.
