At our Meriden, CT site (BioProduction Group – Filtration & Separation Division), you’ll support filtration products used in bioprocessing and industrial applications—products that directly impact public health and safety. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support daily production operations by coordinating schedules, prioritizing production, tracking materials, and ensuring orders move through the process on time. This role works closely with planning, purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues quickly. The role focuses on prioritizing work, communicating what is most important, and solving problems quickly so customer orders stay on track. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Prioritization Convert weekly production plans into clear daily priorities for the production team Prioritize and sequence production activities based on customer demand, due dates, material availability, and operational constraints Expedite urgent or at-risk orders to support on-time customer delivery Maintain visibility to both floor execution and daily production needs through regular presence in the production area Cross-Functional Coordination & Order Execution Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain and production to ensure alignment on priorities and execution Track order progress, identify delivery risks, and drive timely resolution of issues Partner with planning, production, procurement, quality, and shipping teams to keep operations flowing smoothly Communicate production status, schedule changes, and order updates clearly to internal stakeholders and customers as needed Systems, Inventory & Continuous Improvement Monitor inventory accuracy and material availability between production steps to minimize delays Use ERP and MES systems to track production activity, manage order status, and maintain accurate data Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce delays, and increase operational efficiency Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Education & Experience Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production coordination, or a related role Technical Skills Proficiency in ERP, MRP, or MES systems and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and order management processes Professional Skills Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively across teams and between office and production floor environments Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $30.00–$35.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
