Discover Impactful Work: Join our team as a PPI Business System Specialist III and contribute to continuous improvement across Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will implement our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System to enhance operational excellence, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and enable measurable business impact. A Day in the Life: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Apply lean methodologies and problem-solving tools to drive operational excellence Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement Support development of a continuous improvement culture across the organization Track, validate, and report project results including financial impact Deliver training and coaching on PPI tools and methodologies Keys to Success: Education Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; OR Associate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience Experience Demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies Proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional improvement projects Experience driving measurable results through process improvements Experience working in matrixed organizations Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong project management and organizational skills Advanced data analysis and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques Strong financial acumen with ability to validate savings with Finance Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PowerBI, Minitab or similar tools preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed
