Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Position Summary The Pricing Analyst will support the BID Division by driving data-based pricing strategies that enhance revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitive positioning. This role partners closely with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to analyze pricing performance, evaluate discount structures, support large bids/quotes, and implement pricing governance processes. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with business acumen and thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Execution Support development and execution of pricing strategies aligned with division growth and margin targets. Analyze pricing performance, discount trends, win/loss data, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities. Provide pricing recommendations for new product launches, promotions, and lifecycle management. Assist in annual price setting processes and price increase implementation. Bid & Quote Support Partner with Commercial teams to evaluate pricing for strategic bids, tenders, and large volume agreements. Conduct margin analysis and scenario modeling to support negotiation strategy. Ensure compliance with pricing governance and approval processes. Track and analyze bid performance and profitability post-award. Financial & Data Analysis Develop financial models to assess profitability by product, channel, region, and customer segment. Perform variance analysis to understand price-volume-mix drivers. Monitor KPI performance including margin, discount levels, and price realization. Support forecasting activities related to pricing impact. Process & Governance Maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reporting systems. Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and approval workflows. Ensure pricing compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Support implementation of pricing systems enhancements (e.g., CRM, ERP, CPQ). Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management to align pricing decisions with business strategy. Provide training and guidance to commercial teams on pricing tools and policies. Communicate pricing insights to leadership in a clear, actionable manner. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred (for senior-level roles). Experience 2–5+ years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, FP&A, or business analytics. Experience supporting bids/tenders or working in a commercial matrix organization preferred. Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or regulated industries is a plus. Technical Skills Strong Excel and financial modeling skills (advanced level required). Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), CRM (SFDC), or pricing tools. Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred. Ability to manipulate large datasets and derive actionable insights. Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Business acumen with understanding of margin drivers. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to influence stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. Strong communication and presentation skills.
