The Associate Director, US HIV Payer Marketing, is responsible for developing market access strategies and solutions for the assigned brands. The individual will collaborate across functions including Brand Marketing, Integrated Account Management, Outcomes Research and Policy to incorporate market/customer insights in the development of payer customer segment strategies and value evidence planning. In this role, the Associate Director will also collaborate with Global Market Access and Pricing teams in the development of pricing and contracting strategies. The role will be a part of the team responsible for Payer Marketing of the US HIV Business Unit portfolio, covering both in-line, launch and pipeline products. This role will report to the Director, US HIV Payer Marketing. Primary Responsibilities Include: Provide US payer input into Brand Marketing, Business Unit Leadership, Sales Leadership, Global Market Access Teams, our company Research Laboratories, Integrated Account Management, Legal, Compliance and Finance Active participation in the development of value evidence strategies; strong coordination with Outcomes Research / Value & Implementation (V&I) Leverage market and customer insights to shape market access strategies Develop payer customer segment strategy, promotional campaigns and value messaging for all US payer customer segments (health plan, PBM, ADAP, Medicaid, Medicare, federal, pharmacy, hospital and GPO) Develop pricing and contracting strategies Support appropriate pull-through activities and payer related solutions for field sales and account management teams Work with Senior Specialist and serve as dotted line supervisor to develop and deploy resources to support managed care strategy Education: Required: BA/BS Degree Preferred: MBA, MPH, PharmD or other advanced degree Required Experience and Skills: Minimum of 5 years combined market access, marketing/sales leadership, account management, or consulting in the healthcare industry Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand and customer marketing strategies to include innovative approaches and digital engagement Strong knowledge of marketing principles and activating market research insights Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into customer resources or tactics Demonstrated understanding of the mechanics and economics of the healthcare Ecosystem, including influences across various payer segments Demonstrated understanding of US healthcare trends and policy issues and their potential impact upon our company's business opportunities Ability to learn quickly and to assess a variety of scenarios, strategically and operationally Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking Excellent leadership and communication skills Demonstrated success in establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships Strong collaboration, project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks within deadlines Preferred Experience and Skills: Consulting/Stakeholder Management experience in cross-functional capacity Previous experience in HIV Required Skills: Account Management, Adaptability, Brand Marketing, Business Relationship Building, Commercial Account Management, Creativity, Customer Insights, Financial Analysis, Market Access, Market Research, Market Trends, Outcomes Research, Payer Marketing, Pricing Strategies, Principles of Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, Promotions Management, Sales Support, Stakeholder Influence, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Planning, Strategic Thinking, US Healthcare Preferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERE Current Contingent Workers apply HERE US and Puerto Rico Residents Only: Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
