Job Description: The Converter Sales Rep is responsible for leading and managing sales operations for Direct & In Direct Converter Customers in Korea. The role focuses on driving sustainable business growth through strategic sales execution, customer relationship management, and delivering sales opportunities across Core and High Growth Sub Segments (HGSS).This position will work closely with Marketing, Application Engineer, BPS, and Cross-functional stakeholders to deliver profitable growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen customer engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales LeadershipExecute the sales strategy by expanding market share across Core and HGSS, identifying opportunities with Direct and Indirect converter customers. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed annual business objectives. Forecast sales trends, evaluate market opportunities, and adjust strategies to generate sustainable growth. Capability BuildingFoster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity. Ensure effective business operations. Customer & Market ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with converter customers and channel partners. Drive customer retention while expanding the customer base through acquisition of new business opportunities. Work closely with Samsung/HMC Marque and Commercial Sales team to accelerate growth in converter sales. Collaborate with cross-functional Marketing and Application Engineer team to deliver customer-focused solutions. Sales Operations & Business ExcellenceEnsure accurate sales forecasting and SFDC pipeline management. Leverage SFDC to create opportunities and analyze sales performance. Utilize data analytics and market insights to solve business challenges Compliance & Corporate ResponsibilitiesParticipate in relevant corporate programs and strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, professional standards, quality requirements, and ethical practices. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with 3M values and integrity standards. QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 7+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, automotive, electronics, or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales growth targets. Demonstrated experience in strategic account management, business development, and channel/customer relationship management, including converter customers and distributors. Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM systems (Salesforce/SFDC), and data-driven sales execution. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive customer-focused solutions. Preferred QualificationsExperience managing key accounts within the electronics, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors, including Samsung, HMC, or similar OEMs. Proven success in developing and executing market expansion and go-to-market strategies through both direct and indirect sales channels. Experience working in a multinational and matrix organization, collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations functions. Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging market insights and business analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve sales performance.
