The OpportunityIn this dynamic dual-hatted role, you will make a substantial impact on the overall user experience of our global Process Knowledge Management (PKM) application. As part of the Basecamp 2.0 Operational Support Network Team (OSNT), you will lead our business standardization efforts while directly driving templates and system configuration changes. Key Responsibilities: Lead Global Standardization: Act as the expert for business harmonization, ensuring global recipe builders apply consistent standards for molecules, buffers, and media solutions. Drive System Configuration: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to perform impact analyses, feasibility studies, and templates/system configuration mock-ups. Implement Configuration Changes: Own the end-to-end implementation of newly approved system elements, structures, and process steps. Manage Data Ontology: Maintain and implement standard nomenclature, data classifications, and conventions across our global recipe systems. Support and Train Communities: Act as the central focal point for our global recipe builder community, developing prototypes and leading on-the-job training. Ensure Operational Excellence: Partner across departments to resolve technical challenges, maintain a continuous state of inspection readiness, and assure Quality/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance. Who You AreYou are a structured, analytical thinker who thrives on organizing complex data and collaborating across global networks. You enjoy translating user needs into system designs and have a passion for detail and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, or a related field (with 5+ years of experience); or a Master’s degree (with 3+ years); or a PhD (with 0-2 years). Industry Expertise: Strong background in biologics manufacturing operations, process development, or process tech transfers. Systems & Data Experience: Proven experience with process specification tools, enterprise recipe management systems, data ontologies, or database solution configuration. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of global biopharma regulatory environments and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Collaborative Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead communities of practice, design prototypes (using Design Thinking), and manage cross-functional projects.
