Job Description SummaryThe PCS LATAM Regional Leader is a senior product and business leader responsible for shaping and executing the Patient Care Solutions product strategy across Latin America. This role serves as the primary voice of LATAM markets into global PCS product teams — translating regional clinical needs, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into portfolio decisions, product positioning, and go-to-market priorities. Reporting to the LATAM CEO with a dotted line to the Global PCS Leader, this executive bridges regional market realities with global product vision, ensuring PCS solutions are clinically relevant, competitively positioned, and effectively launched across the region. What you’ll do: Product Strategy & Portfolio Management Define and drive the PCS product strategy for LATAM, aligning global portfolio priorities with regional clinical needs, market dynamics, and regulatory environments. Lead product portfolio planning across LATAM countries — including prioritization, lifecycle management, localization requirements, and end-of-life decisions. Serve as the regional product authority for PCS, ensuring deep knowledge of the full portfolio and competitive landscape across patient monitoring, life support, and related modalities. Partner with global PCS product management and R&D teams to represent LATAM requirements in global product roadmap planning and investment decisions. Market Intelligence & Customer Insights Gather and synthesize voice-of-customer (VOC) insights from clinical stakeholders, KOLs, and health system leaders to inform product development and positioning. Track competitive activity, emerging clinical trends, and regulatory changes across LATAM markets; translate findings into actionable product and portfolio recommendations. Identify unmet clinical needs and whitespace opportunities that could be addressed through product adaptation, new offerings, or clinical evidence generation. Product Launch & Go-to-Market Execution Lead end-to-end product launch execution in LATAM, coordinating across Marketing, Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Service teams to ensure successful market introductions. Develop regional product positioning, clinical messaging, and value propositions tailored to the diverse LATAM market segments and healthcare environments. Define pricing strategies and reimbursement frameworks in partnership with commercial and finance teams, balancing global guidelines with local market realities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical opinion leaders, professional associations, and reference sites to support product adoption and clinical evidence. Cross-Functional & Global Alignment Act as the LATAM product interface with global PCS, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Marketing functions — ensuring regional needs are visible and prioritized. Enable commercial teams with product training, clinical tools, and competitive intelligence to drive effective customer engagement. Represent LATAM in global product councils, launch readiness reviews, and strategic planning forums. Ensure full compliance with GE HealthCare policies and applicable regulatory requirements across all product activities in the region. Team Leadership Lead and develop regional PCS product and clinical marketing talent, setting a high bar for domain expertise and market impact. Foster a culture of customer focus, scientific rigor, and cross-functional collaboration. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree in a clinical, scientific, or engineering discipline required; Master's degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) strongly preferred. 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or clinical marketing within medical devices or healthcare technology. Demonstrated experience managing complex medical device portfolios across multiple LATAM markets, with an understanding of regional regulatory and clinical environments. Strong background in clinical applications relevant to patient care — experience with patient monitoring, critical care, or life support solutions is a significant advantage. Proven ability to translate clinical and market insights into product strategy and actionable go-to-market plans. Experience working in matrixed global organizations, aligning regional priorities with global product roadmaps. Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese proficiency strongly preferred given Brazil's strategic importance. Willingness to travel across LATAM (~30-40%). Analytical rigor: Uses market data, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis to prioritize and defend portfolio decisions.
