Job Description Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molds and tooling. Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues to minimize production downtime. Repair, modify, and refurbish existing molds, dies, and fixtures. Conduct mold tear-down, cleaning, inspection, and assembly activities. Operate tool room equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, EDM machines, and precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and CAD models. Fabricate replacement components as required to support production. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve tooling-related issues. Support mold qualification, validation, and engineering change activities. Maintain tooling documentation and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance tooling performance and reliability. Qualifications Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in Tool and Die Making, Machining, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a tool room or injection molding environment preferred. Experience with injection mold maintenance and repair. Strong knowledge of machining practices, and tooling systems. Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Preferred Skills Experience with hot runner systems and mold-flow concepts. Knowledge of CNC machining, EDM, and CAD/CAM systems. Understanding of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments (if applicable).
