Title: PLM Solution Consultant Engineer (Pre-sales) Position Summary The PLM Solution Consultant is a Technical Pre-Sales professional responsible for helping customers accelerate their Engineering Transformation through PTC's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Working closely with Sales from the early stages of the sales cycle, the Solution Consultant identifies customer business and technical challenges, develops compelling solution strategies, and communicates the value of PTC solutions through discovery workshops, executive presentations, solution demonstrations, technical proposals, and proof-of-concept activities. Beyond supporting sales opportunities, the Solution Consultant serves as a trusted technical advisor who helps customers understand the future of engineering. As PTC continues to lead Engineering Transformation in the AI era through Engineering Data Foundation, Digital Thread, and open engineering platforms, we are looking for passionate professionals who are eager to learn new technologies, engage customers, and grow together with PTC. Key Responsibilities Technical Pre-Sales Analyze customer business and technical requirements through discovery activities and workshops Present PTC PLM solutions and deliver compelling Value Propositions Conduct solution demonstrations and executive presentations Support RFI/RFP responses and technical proposal activities Lead or support Proof of Concept (POC) and Benchmark activities Sales Opportunity Support Partner with Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle to provide technical leadership Identify and manage technical risks during the early sales stage Develop winning technical strategies in collaboration with Sales, Services, and Partners Build trusted relationships with customers as a Technical Advisor Technical Leadership & Market Awareness Deliver customer seminars, webinars, conferences, and technical presentations Promote the value of PTC solutions and Engineering Transformation Share industry trends and emerging technologies with customers Contribute to demonstration assets and technical enablement materials Continuous Learning & Innovation Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin Help customers understand future engineering trends and the value of connected engineering environments Continuously improve technical expertise and solution consulting capabilities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in PLM, CAD, ALM, or related engineering software industries Understanding of manufacturing and product development processes Strong presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills Ability to analyze customer challenges and propose effective technical solutions Good English communication skills for meetings, presentations, email communication, and collaboration with global teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Solution Engineering Experience delivering customer demonstrations, workshops, RFP responses, and POC/BMT activities Experience with PLM solutions such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or Dassault ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE Experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment, or other manufacturing industries Experience presenting at customer events, seminars, or conferences A proactive, customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills Passion for customer engagement and business development rather than delivery or implementation-focused roles Strong interest in learning emerging technologies and growing as a leader in the AI-driven Engineering Transformation era together with PTC Work Location Seoul, South Korea Who We Are Looking For We are looking for more than a product expert.
