Job Function: Supply Chain Planning Job Sub Function: Inventory Management Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Madrid, Spain Job Description: "Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Position Overview Contributes to the Inventory Management department as an entry to developing individual contributor. Helps implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall supply chain planning strategy. Applies theoretical knowledge of the Inventory Management field to carry out procedures and plans for the area. Executes the integrated supply chain inventory, segmentation strategies and executes/ governs inventory policies and parameters. Defines criteria and processes to specific requirements of Inventory Management (Consignment Governance, Inventory Pull Back’s, ,…) Key Responsibilities Executes inventory management policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures. Delivers and support decisions based on accurate _Inventory analytics. Supports processes to identify best segmentation business strategies/methods by setting up the supply chain in different ways in order to improve efficiency. Active participation and engagement with Inventory Cycle counting processes (Count, track and adjust) Contributes to Regional and/or Global inventory initiatives related to Inventory Entitlement, Inventory Replenishment Policies, Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) Prevention/Reduction, Inventory Projections/Reporting/KPIs, Inventory Management & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Integration, Improving Master Data for Inventory Management initiatives, Continuous Improvement of Inventory Management Capability, and Inventory Optimization Projects including tracking. Provides inventory management input in IBP forums as applicable. Stays current in the Inventory Management and broader Supply Chain Planning space by completing the recommended trainings & development assignments. Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. Assists in the compiling of product portfolios that include planning for implementing new products into the existing product portfolio, understanding how introducing those new products will affect other products MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS:Business Unit leads Marketing Leads Sales Managers and Commercial Teams Planning and Supply Chain Warehouse leads and operators. Customer service Finance / Controlling Regional Inventory and Asset Management Teams Qualifications & Skills Academic record or equivalent education Good level of English 1-3 years relevant experience in similar position/line of work is desirable Interpersonal & networking skills and effective communicator High tolerance for ambiguity, satisfying needs of several levels of internal & external stakeholders.
