Job Details: Job Description: About the Role Join our Silicon Architecture team to drive power-efficient SoC architecture and system-level innovation for next-generation client and AI computing platforms. We are seeking a SoC Power Management Architect to join our Silicon Architecture team. This role focuses on defining and developing cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures with emphasis on power management, performance optimization, and energy efficiency for next-generation computing platforms. You will collaborate across architecture, design, validation, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions from concept through high-volume manufacturing (HVM). What You'll Do Key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Define and develop SoC power management architecture to optimize performance, efficiency, and thermal behavior Maintain a system-level perspective, ensuring alignment between product goals, constraints, and implementation Evaluate design trade-offs and define feature requirements, specifications, and architecture solutions Drive power integration strategies across new and existing IP blocks Partner with hardware and software teams to ensure successful execution, validation, and enablement Support the full product lifecycle, from early concept through silicon bring-up and production Analyze post-silicon power/performance data to identify optimization opportunities for current and future generations Contribute to debug, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts Behavioral traits that we are looking for: Demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned systems Applies senior level technical judgment to design and delivery decisions Thinks holistically about system impact and maintainability Collaborates effectively with technical and business partners Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance trade-offs across performance, power, and area Excellent communication and influence skills across cross-functional stakeholders Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in global, matrixed teams Ownership mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early-stage architecture definition Continuous learner with curiosity for emerging technologies and industry trends Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 12+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience; or PhD with 6+ years of experience. - Expertise in SoC architecture and development methodologies. - Strong knowledge of system architecture, microarchitecture fundamentals, and SoC architecture fundamentals. - Proficiency in architecture definition and feature definition. - Hands-on experience with architecture registers specification and SoC performance modeling and analysis. - Demonstrated ability to apply disciplined execution and problem-solving methodologies in complex projects. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: - Background knowledge of SOC architecture and power management architecture. - Experience in SoC architecture definition and development. - Power management feature definition and development experience. - Silicon level data collection and analysis skills and experience. - Debug skills and experience.
