The Finance Manager, Operations FP&A is responsible for delivering core finance process activities and providing consolidation support for selected functions across budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and actuals reporting. The role partners closely with the functional teams to deliver insightful analysis, support decision-making, and drive cost discipline across the organization, including ad-hoc analytical support as required. This position reports to the Director, Operations FP&A, is part of the Cytiva Operations Finance team and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Own and operationalize the monthly close and forecast processes for selected business functions, providing clear analytics and commentary on actuals versus forecast, highlighting trends, risks, and potential overruns against targets. Apply zero-based budgeting principles and best practices to drive continuous improvement in functional spending, including facilitation of headcount forecasting, people cost analysis, and appropriate cost allocation by cost center. Partner with functional stakeholders to support financial modelling, identify cost-efficiency opportunities, and recommend cost-control measures. Support purchase requisition tracking and approvals through iProcurement. Drive standardization and continuous improvement in forecasting and reporting processes, including best-practice sharing and identification and resolution of reporting gaps that add value to the business. Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial audiences, and supporting senior leadership with ad-hoc analytical requests as needed. Provide consolidation support for selected functions across month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting cycles. Who you are: This position is open to internal and external candidates with a B.Com, CA, CMA, or MBA, and 4–8 years of progressive finance experience in a global business environment, including exposure to global finance processes. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to analyze large and complex data sets, identify key trends and drivers, link financial results to operational performance, and distill insights into clear, actionable analysis. Strong PC and systems skills, with experience in financial systems and reporting tools such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, Qlik Sense, or similar applications, along with advanced Excel skills for data compilation and aggregation (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS). Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments; adaptable and open to change in response to new or evolving information and circumstances. Demonstrated strength in driving process improvement initiatives and continuously enhancing finance processes and controls.
