Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ Position Summary: Leads the Operations Support function responsible for optimizing manufacturing systems, production processes, facility utilization, equipment reliability, workflow design, maintenance execution, and operational efficiency. The role ensures manufacturing operations meet quality, safety, compliance, cost, productivity, and business continuity objectives while strengthening asset management, calibration program effectiveness, spare parts strategy, and critical MRO inventory control to support reliable equipment performance and supply chain execution. Key Responsibilities Provides leadership to managers, supervisors, and engineering professionals in a matrix environment. Develops and executes operations support strategy strategies aligned with business and operational priorities. Drives facility, process, equipment, and workflow optimization to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost performance. Leads equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and asset management programs, including calibration program effectiveness, preventive maintenance execution, spare parts strategy, consumables management, and critical MRO inventory control to minimize downtime and sustain manufacturing continuity. Establishes KPIs, targets, and performance metrics to ensure delivery of operational objectives. Ensures compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. Leads talent development, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives. Oversees manufacturing projects, resource allocation, budgets, and execution against timelines. Partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Technical Functions to deliver strategic initiatives. Business Impact This role is critical to: Improving manufacturing performance and reliability. Increasing capacity and operational efficiency. Reducing cost and waste through process optimization. Supporting business continuity and growth initiatives. Ensuring compliance with GMP, quality, and safety standards. Enabling execution of strategic manufacturing and supply chain projects. Qualifications: Education Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree required. Focus in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or related discipline Requirements Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant industry experience. Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and complex manufacturing or engineering operations. Strong background in operational excellence, process improvement, facility planning, and manufacturing technologies. Strong background in equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, and asset management, with demonstrated expertise in calibration programs, spare parts strategy, preventive maintenance systems, and critical MRO inventory management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
