Job Function: Sales Enablement Job Sub Function: Contract Administration and Management Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Diegem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Tender & Contracting Specialist based in Diegem, Belgium. This role is responsible for coordinating public tender submissions and supporting contract management activities across the business. The specialist works under moderate supervision and applies knowledge of tender documentation, public procurement requirements, commercial processes, and contract administration to support compliant, timely, and high-quality submissions and agreements in a MedTech environment. Job Description Manage contract administration activities and maintain accurate contract data to support effective customer and contract management. Coordinate end-to-end public tender submissions, ensuring all administrative, commercial, and compliance requirements are met in line with applicable procurement rules and internal policies. Review tender specifications, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements; coordinate bid inputs across functions to deliver complete, compliant, and competitive tender files. Monitor tender opportunities, maintain submission trackers and documentation, and support clarification, amendment, and award follow-up activities. Support the drafting, adaptation, and processing of customer sales contracts and related commercial documents using approved templates and standard clauses. Provide pre-sale and post-signature contract support, including due diligence requests, contract amendments, close-out activities, and responses to customer or internal inquiries. Partner with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to support compliant execution and fulfilment of contractual commitments. Use data, documentation, and business insights to support offer development, decision-making, and process improvement. Drive continuous improvement of tender and contract workflows, templates, trackers, and governance to enhance quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Coach junior colleagues on processes, tools, and responsibilities where relevant. Demonstrate Credo-based behaviours and leadership expectations in day-to-day collaboration. Specific Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, legal studies, economics, healthcare management, or a related field. Relevant experience in tender coordination, bid administration, contract management, sales support, or customer administration, ideally within MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry. Good understanding of public procurement processes and tender requirements, with the ability to prepare complete and compliant submission files within strict deadlines. Experience reviewing tender documentation, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and maintaining accurate records, trackers, and supporting documentation. Ability to draft and adapt customer contracts and related commercial documents using approved templates and standard clauses. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and compliance risks before submission or signature. Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams in a fast-paced commercial environment. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across sales, finance, marketing, customer service, legal, and other support functions. Solid analytical skills and confidence working with data, pricing files, contract records, and supporting documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with contract management, CRM, tender, or ERP systems is an advantage.
