Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent to join us as an Outbound Transportation Analyst in one of the following locations: Diegem, Belgium Madrid, Spain Pomezia , Italy Prague, Czechia Purpose: In this role, you will coordinate and optimize outbound transportation operations across assigned distribution centers, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective parcel transportation services. You will collaborate closely with transportation providers, distribution center operations, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service performance. You will be responsible for: Coordinating Outbound Transportation (Parcel) operations for assigned Distribution Centers in collaboration with transportation providers and DC operations. Ensuring reliable day-to-day transportation execution with a focus on speed, quality, compliance, and customer service. Monitoring transportation performance and implementing corrective actions with carriers and supply chain partners when required. Leading Carrier Operational Performance Reviews to ensure service level achievement, drive corrective actions, and identify optimization opportunities. Owning and delivering standard shipping transaction processes for assigned DCs and transportation lanes, translating these into effective control plans. Identifying opportunities for business process harmonization and continuous improvement across transportation operations. Providing analytical and project management support for operational and financial improvement initiatives, including carrier changes, lane implementations, transportation mode shifts, and order profile optimization. Leading shipment complaint and claims management processes while driving systemic improvements to eliminate recurring defects and enhance transportation performance. Qualifications / Requirements: BSC Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Technology, or in a related field. 3-5 years experience. High attention to details combined with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Successful track record of developing and implementing projects and business solutions. Ability to work in a highly complex environment. Demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement and innovation in logistics/transportation processes. Lean certification is a plus. Capable of adapting & prioritizing responsibilities to provide flexibility IT literacy (good with Excel – other databases, such as Access, oracle is a plus) Business fluency in English and fluency in additional European languages is a plus. Preferred knowledge skills and qualities: Demonstrated experience in managing transportation operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to support and manage projects, particularly in transportation cost improvement and sustainability initiatives. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., FPx) is beneficial. Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), enterprise resource planning (SAP, JDE) systems and Feight Audit solutions (e.g. Transportation). Understanding of current trends and regulations in the transportation and logistics industry, including sustainability practices. Experience from Medical Device industry Experience from working with Dangerous goods distribution Knowledge of custom rules and regulations Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
