Join our team as a Chemist, where you'll contribute to ensuring consistent production of therapeutic and diagnostic products. As part of the Lipids and Transfection Reagents Manufacturing team, you'll work at the intersection of research and production, supporting process optimization, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure robust, scalable manufacturing processes that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities Synthesize lipids using organic synthesis techniques Monitor raw material inventory and order raw materials in a timely manner Maintain equipment and record malfunctions in the system in a timely manner Complete, update, and prepare technological documentation accurately and on time Ensure products are manufactured on time and manufacturing data is entered into the E1 system Collaborate with colleagues in the Research and Development (R&D) department to develop new and improve existing product technologies Participate in production process validation activities as needed Provide suggestions and ideas to improve departmental processes and activities Train and support team members as needed Experience and Qualifications University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field Good written and spoken English Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications At least one year of laboratory experience in chemistry, including organic synthesis and chromatographic purification Experience working with inventory management systems (e.g., E1) is an advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of safe handling of hazardous chemicals Understanding of the principles and requirements for working in a controlled environment Experience with process validation, technology transfer, and scale-up activities Experience with risk assessment and root cause analysis is an advantage Salary€1,983 – €2,970 gross/month The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.
