Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Senior Manager Production Operations role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: The Senior Manager Production Operations ensures Manufacturing & Packaging operations comply with regulatory standards, procedures, and policies. This role directly supports the Operations Maintenance area with Quality and EHS Compliance aspects. This includes SOPs revisions, CAPAs, QARs, CRs, Compliance to PQS, audits, etc. Acts as the Engineering main contact for all regulatory and internal audits and inspections. Perform job functions in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), federal and state laws, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, health authority regulations, and departmental processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the management, and performance of manufacturing and packaging operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of production plans. Manage plant resources, workforce utilization, equipment capacity, and material flow to maximize productivity and operational effectiveness in manufacturing and packaging areas. Responsible of ensuring efficient execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, by defining, monitoring, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive sustained performance improvements. Drive improvements in throughput, yield, cycle times, process capability, and manufacturing efficiency, by identifying and leading initiatives to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and improve resource utilization. Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce operational losses, while ensuring manufacturing and packaging activities comply with approved procedures and specifications. Lead the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to achieve operational, quality, and customer service objectives. Ensure all manufacturing and packaging activities are conducted in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic direction to ensure business continuity, operational readiness, and organizational resilience. Ensure business continuity and operational readiness. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 7-10 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration Knowledge/Skills: Must possess knowledge of FDA, OSHA or EPA regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
