Our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. We’re a team that celebrates diverse ideas and continuous improvement. Here, you’ll find a place to grow and make a real impact, with your unique perspective driving us forward in improving patient care. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible. The Senior Innovation Manager (Early Product Development & Assessment) is responsible for supporting Radiometer’s future growth through structured identification, evaluation, and recommendation of innovation opportunities within assigned product, solution, and market areas. The role serves as a strategic bridge between market needs and product development, leading structured assessments of early-stage innovation opportunities across existing and adjacent healthcare segments. This includes identifying unmet customer needs, exploring adjacent market opportunities, assessing potential entry into new clinical and diagnostic domains, and translating insights into evidence-based recommendations that may inform future product, solution, and market expansion choices. The Senior Innovation Manager enables evidence-based decision-making by evaluating clinical value, market attractiveness, competitive dynamics, technical feasibility, financial returns, and strategic fit for assigned opportunities. Working cross-functionally, this individual contributes insights that help Radiometer maintain a balanced innovation portfolio and supports resource-allocation decisions toward high-value opportunities. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Portfolio & Innovation Management and is part of the Global Product & Portfolio Management team. The role is based out of Radiometer’s headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Shape the future innovation pipeline by leading early-stage evaluation of new product ideas within assigned existing product lines and adjacent or emerging healthcare segments, and by developing recommendations that inform pipeline decisions. Drive evidence-based decision-making by applying structured assessment frameworks (clinical value, market potential, technical feasibility, strategic fit, financial attractiveness). This includes construction of financial models and sensitivity analyses required for decision-grade business cases. Lead front-end innovation activities including opportunity identification, concept validation, and market assessment to ensure focus on high-impact growth areas. Translate customer needs into early concepts by defining and guiding Voice of Customer (VoC) activities, synthesizing insights into concepts and value propositions. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, PMO, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Operations, Legal, and regional teams to align early development with company, commercial and clinical realities. Challenge and refine innovation ideas by stress-testing assumptions, identifying risks and value drivers, and ensuring robust business cases before development investments. The essential requirements of the job include: Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or Business/Economics (or equivalent experience) Long-standing product innovation experience within in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, or closely related healthcare technology Demonstrated experience leading ideation, de-risking and assessments of new product ideas Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical rigor (with financial modelling and scenario analysis) and navigating uncertainty with confidence Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end business case inputs and outputs, with full accountability for data accuracy and defensibility. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally, including customer site visits, subsidiary support, and industry events It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Advanced degree (PhD or MBA), particularly in healthcare technology, product management, or market strategy Prior experience within acute care or point-of-care diagnostics Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or equivalent lean/continuous improvement methodology Knowledge of IVD regulatory frameworks (IVDR, FDA 510(k)) and their implications for product strategy Application If you find the job interesting please don't hesitate to send in your application.
