R&D Trainee

Job description

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Develop and optimize lubricants' formulations to meet performance and cost targets. Give technical guidance during project concept reviewing. Evaluate new raw materials and additives for potential use. Collaborate with process and production teams to scale up formulations. Collaborate with colleagues in process engineering to carry out technological innovation and upgrades in production processes Be able handle the lab facilities properly according to WI. Prepare lab samples for local product development according to the instruction from superior. Document experiment details clearly and properly. Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products. Carry out new product development projects, follow up and give technical guidance to production during new product realization process. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams. Ensure effective and efficient communication with the concerned functions at KLM, such as RD & QR, as well as other branches. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates. Ensure maintenance of testing equipments, weekly & monthly cleaning, sorting duties, and related lab 5S work. Qualifications: Master/PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineer or relative field; Familiar with literature & patent search, familiar with analysis method; Strong willingness for R&D technical and management work Good communication and coordination skills; Fluent English – oral and written ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
