Role Purpose The Specialty Account Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of innovative products within the assigned territory. The role will lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders, deliver tailored, patient-focused detailing for healthcare professionals, support product formulary listing, ensure product availability for patients, and deliver agreed business outcomes in line with GSK policies and procedures. Core Responsibilities Execute commercial strategic priorities in the defined territory and offer appropriate solutions by acting as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals. Monitor product performance on a regular basis and recommend actions through the development and effective execution of a robust territory business plan aligned to the commercial strategy. Support delivery of the annual operational plan, including development and roll-out of new campaigns based on market needs, in collaboration with medical and regulatory colleagues and in line with all approval requirements. Develop market intelligence and support the forecasting process in alignment with commercial, trade channel and marketing teams to reflect actual market demand. Drive end-to-end patient solutions and tracking to support product supply, coordinating with supply chain and commercial trade channel teams to ensure product availability and appropriate shelf-life management. Conduct regular external meetings and interactions with healthcare professionals to drive disease awareness and appropriate product use. Build and maintain long-term relationships with relevant scientific groups and key experts to support patient care across the region. Partner with market access colleagues to develop and implement access plans for the defined territory, supporting a clear access roadmap with key accounts. Accountability Deliver performance and results through continuous patient recruitment activities, end-to-end account management and full adherence to GSK’s ways of working. Develop, agree and implement an area business plan, prioritizing key risks and opportunities per account and optimizing resources to maximize results. Execute agreed marketing and promotional activities that address market needs and support portfolio performance, in line with GSK policies and local regulations. Manage product supply within the territory, working closely with supply and commercial trade channel teams to follow up on quantities, orders and fulfilment. Generate robust account-level insights and patient enrolment data to support accurate demand forecasting. Develop and manage long-term, collaborative business partnerships with healthcare professionals and key accounts. Compliance and Ethics Operate in full alignment with GSK and local country standards, policies and procedures. Build and maintain knowledge of GSK codes, policies, procedures and applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and ensure all activities adhere to these requirements. Maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders to proactively identify and manage issues and follow approved courses of action. Role-model collaborative relationships based on trust, openness, honesty and transparency. Demonstrate GSK values and behaviors, with integrity at the core of all decisions and actions. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Based in Abu Dhabi with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the field. Science-related degree (for example: medicine, pharmacy or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent presentation, product-detailing and sales skills. Strong understanding of local business dynamics, country-specific requirements and relevant healthcare professional groups. Proven ability to build and manage relationships with healthcare professionals, key institutions and professional associations. Resilient, self-motivated and persistent, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure. Comfortable challenging the status quo, using creativity and generating new and bold ideas. Fluent in written and spoken English. Preferred Experience Experience in more than one specialty area ideally across (infectious diseases, urology, gynecology). GSK is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
