For more information, visit www.averydennison.com/India. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOW9EaiaQj4 This role will be responsible for leading the Industrial Relations and HR matters, including but not limited to partnering with the Plant office / shop floor teams to manage positive employee relations on the shopfloor and staff, ensuring a great employee experience, ensuring all organizational policies are well understood and implemented in the plant, Managing the contracted workers, ensuring all HR and contractor compliances, liaising with local & Government authorities and setting up the best HR & IR work practices at our designated Plant. We are looking for an experienced Plant HR & IR Manager to lead the well-established Manufacturing Plant in Noida and remotely manage DC/Plant at Bangalore. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Plant & Factory Manager and plant teams on building harmonious employee relations and build talent and organizational excellence, around succession & leadership development. Will work closely with the Plant Manager and partner with Talent management to build talent and organizational excellence, around succession & leadership development. Key Responsibilities Partner & work closely with the 2 Plant Heads ( Noida & Bangalore) to deliver the Plant’s Strategy & performance parameters. End to end management of Industrial Relations of both the Plants. Also to handle & manage the local stakeholders for ensuring disruption free & smooth running of operations. Maintain a positive Unionized environment, independent management of Union relationships and addressing all employee and worker grievances proactively including but not limited to long term wage settlements, holding work committee meetings, closing the loop on discussed actions, managing the discipline and productivity related situations on the shopfloor The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the relevant sites in purview are fully compliant on HR and statutory requirements, will ensure proper liaison with the labour & local Administration including statutory authorities, as required and in accordance with organization policies and code of conduct. Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and HR Services teams to ensure the delivery of targets related to hiring, training, rewards and employee experience. Put systems and processes in place in all the areas under HR function and end to end contract labour Management. Provide coaching, counseling and consulting to managers on a broad range of HR & IR related issues. Support and assist in the development and implementation of engagement surveys and all supervisory and management training programs. Along with the HR Business partner - Operations, provide inputs and execute the employee & industrial relations strategy for the relevant sites. Understand - the needs of the business and talent needs within the scope of the job and functional area, and partner with the other HR team members & functional leaders to deploy leadership development & succession plans for these functions. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Possesses leadership, mentoring, training and project management experience and skills. Ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner. Strong customer focus and orientation.
