This position reports to: GBS HR Expert Services Global Mobility M __ Mission: Serve as strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the Division, developing mobility solutions that align with business strategy. Lead specialized mobility team in delivering exceptional support for complex assignments, building organizational capability through education and training, and creating innovative programs that maximize GM as a business resource and partner. Key responsibilities: Strategic Business Partnership: Act as primary mobility advisor to Division leadership. Develop deep understanding of Division business strategy, talent needs, and organizational challenges. Provide strategic counsel on how mobility can support business objectives and talent strategy. Anticipate future mobility needs and proactively develop solutions. Team Leadership & Case Allocation: Lead and mentor specialized mobility team in delivering complex assignment support. Allocate cases strategically based on complexity, team expertise, and development opportunities. Provide coaching and guidance on challenging cases, serving as escalation point for complex or sensitive matters. Build team capability through feedback and development. Complex Case Advisory: Serve as sparring partner for Division business leaders on complex, high-stakes international assignments. Provide specialized guidance on policy interpretation, exception handling, and unique business scenarios. Lead problem-solving on multi-country assignments, third-country nationals, and specialized talent movements. Business Education & Training: Design and deliver training programs to build Division management and HR capability on mobility strategy, policy, and best practices. Develop educational content for business leaders on talent development through international assignments. Drive awareness of mobility as a strategic tool for succession planning and leadership development. Program Creation & Management: Develop and manage Division-specific mobility programs aligned with business strategy (e.g., leadership development programs, talent exchange initiatives, emerging market assignments). Customize policies and processes to address unique Division needs. Launch and oversee special initiatives that enhance mobility effectiveness. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all mobility matters. Collaborate with security and legal teams to mitigate risks for assignees and the organization. Maintain health and safety standards for international assignments. Organizational Capability Building: Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across the Division. Capture and share mobility best practices and lessons learned. Build a culture of continuous improvement in how mobility supports talent and business objectives. Key requirements: To be successful in this role, you bring at least 10 years of experience in global mobility, along with a track record of shaping mobility strategies that create value for both the business and its people. You have established yourself as a trusted strategic advisor who leads change with confidence, influencing senior business leaders and partnering effectively across a global organization. Your expertise spans the full spectrum of international mobility, including immigration, tax, compensation, and policy design. You combine this technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness, enabling you to align mobility solutions with evolving business priorities and the needs of different divisions. You thrive in complex, international environments where collaboration and influence matter as much as expertise. Whether you are guiding senior stakeholders, navigating organizational change, or solving challenging mobility issues, you bring a strategic mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust at every level. You are passionate about developing others and have experience designing and delivering engaging training programs that strengthen capabilities across teams.
