The Shipping Clerk I is responsible for processing domestic and international customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations. This position prepares packages, labels, and ships finished goods using approved shipping systems and ERP software. The Shipping Clerk works closely with Quality Control, Customer Service, Planning, and other departments to ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager and is part of the Shipping Team located in El Dorado Hills, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Prepare products for shipment using approved packaging methods to ensure safe transportation. Generate shipping labels and required documentation using carrier software including FedEx, UPS, and other approved carriers. Prepare and verify international shipping documentation including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, export documentation, and other country-specific requirements. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting, stock verification, and inventory transactions within the ERP system. ​Receive incoming materials, including chemicals and laboratory supplies, verify shipments against purchase orders, and distribute materials to the appropriate departments while following applicable safety procedures. The essential requirements of the job include: High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn ERP systems (Dynamics 365 or equivalent). It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other carrier software. Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365, AX, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Experience with international shipping documentation and export compliance. The hourly rate for this role is $17.07 – 21.00 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
